Matrix-12
The Matrix-12, truly one of the "Monsters" of programmable analog synthesizers. It is basically two complete Oberheim Xpanders hooked up to a velocity-sensitive (including release velocity), pressure-sensitive keyboard. With 24 oscillators (two VCOs per voice!!) it can be set up as a 12-part monophonic or a 6-part polyphonic multi-timbral synth.

Far from complete, Synthmuseum is a work in progress. We are continually building the museum, adding manufacture and instrument information monthly. If you have sent us information that is not currently online, please be patient. We have a wealth of information we have yet to sort through and put online.

The following is a list of manufactures and instruments
we are currently researching for inclusion in the museum.

Do you have any information about these companies and their synths?

Do you know of a synthesizer or manufacturer that is not listed here?
